wheel horse hydraulic pump pricelist
The 3118 was the small wheel AH model that was powered by the Onan Performer P218 engine just like the 3018 and 4018 models. All the AH 3100/4100 series machines used the same bigger Hydraulic pump at nearly 12 Gallons Per Minute and getting close to 3000 PSI. These machines had a tandem pump with one section providing hydraulic power for just the power steering and the other pump servicing the drive system as well as the lift and attachment power system through the hydraulic PTO.
Not many 4116 were made but they were offered for roughly a year as to where the other AH models were sold for 2 to 3 years. But they were discontinued as the market did not seem to support the prices. With the bigger pumps and hydraulic-powered attachments, the cost over a 3000/4000 series tractor was significantly more. The 4116 was powered by a P216 16-horsepower engine.
The 4118 has an Onan P218 engine under the hood. The AH models had 48 or 60-inch hydraulic power mower deck options and 48-inch hydraulic driven snow blowers.
The 4120 was pushed as the flagship machine while it was being offered. With the big Onan 20-horse P220 and the Big hydraulic pump, it is a force to be reckoned with. It has noticeably more power than other models and those other models are beasts in their own right. The AH tractors could power two hydraulic attachments at once. They often powered the hydraulic deck and the hydra vac blower/vac unit. This is our personal 4120 we redid in the summer of 2022 and we use it often as one of our main workhorses.
The rear and elusive Diesel-powered AH models. Though only a handful were made they are highly sought after by collectors and users alike. They had a 3-cylinder 18-horsepower respected Perkins engine. The frame had length added to the front so the engine and radiator could fit. So they are long hood machines. The 3118 D was the small-wheel diesel option machine.
Maybe the holy grail for some is to get their hands on the Big wheel diesel AH model the 4118-D. They have a mean all-business look to them with the long hood, big wheels, and set back axle they just look like they do not want to be parked, but out working.
We offer a variety of hydraulic hoses for Wheel Horse Tractors. If you do not find what you are looking for or do not have a part number, please call, text or message before you place your order.
One classy looking tractor led to another. Over the past 12 years Rock has produced 12 custom-built rigs. All of the 4-wheel drive articulated beauties look like they just came off an assembly line.
After building 2 Wheel Horse models, Rock converted a Cub Cadet model 582. That fully articulated model attracted a lot of attention at local shows. Next he converted a Deere 318 into a 4-WD. After that he did more Deere, WheelHorse, and even Case conversions.
I start with the garden tractor chassis and go from there, says Rock. The original is dismantled, then I create a chassis that articulates horizontally and vertically and rides on 12 or 16-in. wheels. He builds his tractors with new hydraulic pumps, fittings and hoses. All of them have hydrostatic power, hydraulic steering and in most cases air cooled engines, except for occasional diesels.
Rocks son Robert has become an able assistant the last few years. At age 13, with a mild form of autism, but a strong mechanical aptitude, Robert can completely dismantle an old tractor, take transaxles apart, flush hydraulic systems, put in new gaskets and re-assemble axles. Hes gradually learning welding and takes all the new tractors on their initial test drives.
He and Roberts most recent creation is a made-from-scratch replica of a 4-wheel drive Minneapolis Moline. Rock calls that one an A4T-1400 and says its the toughest project hes worked on. I wanted everything done to scale, so I spent a lot of time measuring, designing and sizing before we ever worked on any metal, Rock says. He adds that replica tractors he builds in the future will probably cost $10,000 to $12,000 depending on options that an owner wants. Some people have requested a high volume hydraulic system, dual wheels and a 3-pt. hitch.

An electric motor can be overloaded for short periods during the cycle provided the average horsepower is no greater than its nameplate rating plus service factor where this applies.
Using a 20 HP motor on a system which requires only 10 HP, for example, will give good results for running the pump but will consume more electricity than a 10 HP motor and will cause the power factor of the plant electric system to be poorer, especially during periods the motor is idling. Idling current of a 20 HP motor is about half the full load current of a 10 HP motor. This is an extra power waste during periods in the cycle when the pump is idling.
This pump looks very well built, had no problems with installation, Best Pump for the price. Also shipping was lightning fast I would highly recommend shopping with Mulligans.
Amongst many of my other projects I"ve been working with Sam and Nathan we have been looking at fitting hydraulics to the C121 , trying to think what will have a vee belt pulley on etc and knowing we"re not going to need vasts amounts of pressure for what we"re needing ( eventually it"s going to be used for a three point hitch ) etc , so I"ve sourced a power steering pump off an old range rover 3.5 v8 engine . Which should be more than upto the job hopefully anyway , I"ve also gonna use if it has enough capacity a land rover pas resovoir, in order to mount the pas pump we had to dispense with the original exhaust to allow for room for the pump , here is what we have done so far !
