mission parts battlefront 2 made in china
This thread is a year and a half old, but imma comment anyway. In the library part of the mission, I found it useful to be an engineer just during the Jedi attack. The shotgun can 1 bang them from a short range (which they have to get to to attack you) and they have a fusion cutter which you can use to repair the bookcase you are defending.
run to the book room and find one bookshelf stay at the wall end and keeping repairing it 1-2 jedi will come and attack it kill them with your shotgun go back to reparing

Like a Jedi with hatred inside them, Star Wars Battlefront 2 is its own worst enemy. It’s a sequel that’s managed to vastly improve upon its predecessor in some major ways: harder-hitting blasters, a wider variety of iconic Star Wars heroes, gorgeous locations, and a short single-player campaign all stand out. At the same time, it’s taken a giant leap backward with its bafflingly terrible progression system and rushed, disjointed storytelling, which keep it from being much more than shallow Star Wars fun.
Much like the first game (or the third, if you’re counting the original Battlefront games from Pandemic), Battlefront 2 faithfully captures the look and feel of the Star Wars universe, with beautifully detailed levels, vehicles, and characters across some of its most recognizable venues. Every blaster, TIE Fighter, and Battle Droid looks and sounds like it’s straight out of the movies, with the only notable exception being a couple of less than stellar voice impersonators used for heroes like Luke Skywalker, Darth Vader, and Kylo Ren.
Battlefront 2’s campaign caters to that fandom as well, but ends up being a bit of a mess because of it. At only about four hours long, it mostly follows the story of Imperial Special Forces commander Iden Versio - a fierce leader who still manages to express compassion from her position within the Empire - from the final moments of Return of the Jedi into the era of The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi. Despite its darker choice of perspective (we haven’t seen much from the Imperial soldier point of view since 1994’s TIE Fighter), the plot moves forward in a fairly unimaginative fashion from there.
It’s a shame Iden doesn’t get more time to develop as a character because Battlefront 2 does a decent job of introducing her (outside of some stilted dialogue in the opening scene) as a competent, sympathetic person. But Battlefront 2’s campaign doesn’t really have much of a cohesive story to speak of in which for her to complete a believable arc. Instead, it feels more like a series of barely connected missions across a smattering of recognizable locations, featuring the major characters you’d expect. It’s essentially digital Star Wars tourism tied around the loose concept of Iden’s battles in the final days of the Galactic Civil War. Not enough time is devoted to Iden and her relationships to give her pivotal decisions the context they need.
Instead, several missions put you in direct control of some of the heroes available in multiplayer. These missions are fun enough, but they feel hamfisted in how they are incorporated into Iden’s story, especially when she’s almost entirely absent during them.
It’s also disappointing that the events we’re participating in don’t seem to have much impact on the story. Whether it’s securing a secret cache of the Emperor’s, sabotaging a weapons facility, or gathering intel about the enemy, you usually just jump to the next mission afterward to see what thing from the movies you’ll encounter next. Sometimes there’s such a large time jump between them that any impact of what you just did is entirely glazed over.
Even the ominous Operation Cinder, which is introduced after the second mission as the Empire’s next big bad weapon, is unceremoniously resolved before you even reach the campaign’s halfway point. Iden’s own character arc essentially stops around the same time, and a time jump entirely skips any sort of character development that would explain the very different version of her you take control of on the other side.
Battlefront 2 sprints through all of the nuance of its relationships, which often makes its characters’ actions feel unfounded and confusing. Jumping from space rock to space rock means there’s never really time to establish Iden’s relationships with other characters, blunting the impact of any emotional moments they attempt to have together - and a romantic kiss toward the end of the campaign comes from so far out of left field that it was actually laughable.
But there are gems to be found in the story: a companion named Shriv has a sarcastic wit that made him one of my favorite new game characters in a long time. A quirky mission featuring him and Lando had me laughing out loud at multiple points, but moments like that tended to be the gasps of fresh air in an otherwise-stale room. It’s definitely not a campaign that takes any risks, but it inherits the chunky new blasters that I already learned to love in Battlefront’s multiplayer and uses them in unexpected scenarios.
All of the story and structure problems aside, the campaign can still be an enjoyable Star Wars spectacle, if extremely straightforward and simple in its design. The firefights on the ground are traditional whack-a-mole-style first-person shooter action, throwing waves of enemies at you until you can advance to the next area. One area where Battlefront 2 feels strange is that it only allows you to carry one weapon at a time, and you can’t pick up blasters dropped by dead enemies. That creates some situations where you’re stuck with a sniper rifle when the situation calls for something better in close quarters.
The starfighter missions thrive on their scale, usually set in elaborate battles full of busy skies and huge Star Destroyers. Unfortunately, they’re about as difficult as dodging a shot from a Stormtrooper, with AI enemies that were sometimes almost entirely unresponsive to my presence. But that feeling of being in a space dogfight amid the distinctive sights and sounds of the Star Wars universe is still a powerful one. I also really loved that these flying sequences weren’t sequestered into their own little corners of the campaign, with a few missions having you switch from ground to air multiple times.
It’s also worth noting that on both PC and consoles (including the PS4 Pro and Xbox One X) I experienced frame skips and lag during campaign cutscenes. It undermined the drama of a few scenes to have the video freeze up while the audio kept playing. Thankfully, Battlefront 2 generally runs well enough during actual gameplay - though not perfectly, and I did manage to get stuck in level geometry a couple times.
It’s also worth noting that I ran into some massive performance issues on PC during the campaign. No matter what PC I was using, cutscenes were frequently choppy, and that lag followed into the campaign missions as well. I experienced these even on low settings on my GTX 970. I’ll need to do more testing to see if it was an isolated case, but the campaign was nearly unplayable at times on that computer.
So the large-scale multiplayer modes remain the most compelling reason to play Battlefront 2. It gets its fundamentals right, in that weapons feel meaty and satisfying to fire, especially in comparison to its predecessor. Sound plays a big role in this, with booming and familiar effects from every gun.
These heroes are ridiculously strong, but still require a certain level of smart play to use effectively. That said, it can feel a bit punishing to turn a corner as a basic trooper only to come face to face with a Sith Lord you have no chance against. Yoda feels particularly imbalanced, acting as the Oddjob of Battlefront 2 - his small size makes him incredibly hard to hit, made worse by the fact that he does flips every time he swings his lightsaber. Fun to play as, but not so much against.
Battlefront 2 has five multiplayer modes you can queue into, the most exciting of which is the large-scale, 40-player Galactic Assault mode. These are huge, multi-stage spectacles that generally last 10 to 15 minutes as teams compete across multiple objectives. All the big guns are pulled out here and, similar to the first game, it really can feel like an epic Star Wars battle when you’re flying an X-Wing to attack an AT-AT while Luke and Darth Vader are fighting below.
The Starfighter Assault mode cuts out all of the ground combat in favor of sprawling, 24-player space fights. It’s nice that these dogfights have a matchmaking queue of their own for those who are interested specifically in one mode or the other, but there isn’t enough tactical depth or maneuverability at play in Starfighter Assault to hold my attention long. I really enjoy the way each ship feels flying in and around obstacles, but it also seems like whichever player sees the other first will almost always get a kill out of it because it’s extremely difficult to shake an opponent off your tail, especially at long range.
Probably the least interesting of its modes is Blast, which is just a plain old 10v10 deathmatch. It reuses smaller areas from other maps and just isn’t as exciting as the larger battles available or as challenging as Strike. I’m sure some people will appreciate the option, but it seemed to miss the point of what makes Battlefront 2 fun for me.
There’s no ranked queue available for any of the five modes and very little stat tracking to speak of, which makes the second-biggest problem with Battlefront 2’s multiplayer its lack of long-term appeal for people who want to form a community around it. There’s a good deal of map variety here across 11 distinctly Star Wars locations, and EA is relying on the promise of free post-launch DLC to shake things up further going forward. But that extra variety can’t come soon enough, because swapping locations is one of the only things that’s held my attention - especially given the unappealing out-of-match progression.
The bantha in the room is that Battlefront 2’s Star Cards is one of the worst progression systems I have ever had the displeasure of experiencing in a competitive multiplayer game. With the exception of new weapons, which are slowly unlocked by getting a certain number of kills with each class, all class leveling, ability customization, and upgrading is funneled through a randomized loot box system with tediously high in-game credit costs.
There are three crates you can buy, each containing three or four cards and some Crafting Parts to make specific ones: one of the crates has hero cards for 2,200 credits, one has starfighter-specific cards for 2,400 credits, and one is a Trooper crate for a whopping 4,000 credits with cards for the much more frequently used base classes. Since heroes and starfighters are used far less often and their upgrades can still be found in Trooper crates, that quickly became the only type I wanted to buy.
What’s worse, a lot of the places you can get credits outside of regular matches provide almost insultingly small amounts. You get a free crate each day you login that gives a measly five Crafting Parts and 125 Credits, the achievement rewards eventually dry up or slow down, and Arcade rounds reward 100 credits per win but are pointlessly restricted to a max of 500 per day - less than a quarter of the price of the cheapest available crate.
If that sounds like a timesink, just wait: it gets worse. Cards also come in four levels of rarity and power, with a base card costing 40 Crafting Parts to make. That sounds okay when you consider that you get 45 to 60 Parts in a crate, but when you scale it up to the 480 it costs to upgrade to the highest level it becomes a daunting hill to climb. Additionally, you can’t actually craft the better versions until you level up both your overall account by playing matches, and also the card’s specific class by earning more cards for them.
That means despite enjoying and wanting to specialize in the Heavy class, it took me nearly a dozen loot boxes to actually find a single card for it. I could craft cards for the Heavy with the small amount of Crafting Parts I had collected, but so far I’ve been able to create nothing above the weakest versions. Even then, I had to craft a bunch of cards I didn’t actually want in order to level up the Heavy to the point where I could equip three cards at a time for it.
It’s a problem that’s exacerbated by Battlefront 2’s terrible decision to mix its completely uninteresting cosmetics into the same randomized crates as ability cards. There aren’t many feelings worse than finally saving up 4,000 credits for a crate, only to open up a bland victory pose for a class you don’t like, knowing the whole time that could have been a high-level ability for one you do.
Right off the bat, this whole system seemed ill-conceived, but against all odds it actually got worse the more I used it. That’s because the more your collection grows, the more likely you are to open crates with duplicate cards. Instead of duplicates providing Crafting Parts to help you build the specific cards you’re missing, they provide a handful of credits to spend on more crates so you can get more duplicates.
With a more fleshed out collection, it’s not rare to spend 4,000 credits on a crate only to open it and get 45 Crafting Parts and three common duplicates, which refund for a total 600 credits. So you’ve essentially spent 3,400 credits to get 45 Crafting Parts and nothing else. That is beyond awful, and morphs the crates from an unlockable progression system into a convoluted currency exchange where the value of crates goes down, but the ease of crafting never goes up.
That all said, the ridiculous progression system doesn’t mean the multiplayer itself suddenly isn’t fun to play. Put simply, Battlefront 2 just isn’t trying to be a competitive game; it’s trying to be a lighthearted Star Wars shooter, and it does that pretty well in the moment. That philosophy doesn’t excuse the Star Card system by any means, but it’s why I could still have fun for a while in spite of it, and why I’ll likely still dip in when DLC comes around to see what new Star Wars fantasy it recreates.
Battlefield 2 is a first-person shooter video game, developed by DICE and published by Electronic Arts for Microsoft Windows in June 2005 as the third game in the Battlefield franchise.
Players fight in a modern battlefield, using modern weapon systems.Battlefield 2 is a first-person shooter with some strategy and Tactical Shooter elements.

Battlefield 2 is a multiplayer video game played via the Internet or on a local area network. A single-player mode with three difficulty levels is included. Both player modes use the same maps and use Battlefield"s conquest game mode. Single-player mode allows 16 computer-controlled playersUnited States Marine Corps, the People"s Liberation Army, or the "Middle Eastern Coalition". Additional factions are playable through the expansion packs, such as the European Union. Progress in the game is made via promotions which allow additional weapons to be unlocked. By playing the game on ranked servers, players are able to add to their global player statistics. These statistics are used to award promotions and other achievements.
In Battlefield 2, players are divided into two opposing teams (which factions they represent is dependent upon the map). The key objective in Battlefield 2 is to reduce the opposing teams tickets. Tickets represent an army"s ability to reinforce their position on the battlefield; each team has only a limited supply of tickets, and each casualty on the battlefield reduces the number of available tickets. Control points represent key points on the map, and are represented by flags. Control points are Battlefield 2"s spawn points, and one team possessing a significant majority of the control points causes the other teams tickets to gradually decrease, regardless of casualties. A round ends when one team"s tickets gone, the round"s timer ends, or if at any point a team holds no control points, and has no soldiers alive on the battlefield (meaning they are not present in any way on the battlefield).
Battlefield 2"s two game modes are Conquest and Cooperative. The only difference between the two modes is that Cooperative includes computer-controlled players, whilst Conquest allows only human players. Results from Cooperative mode do not count toward global player statistics.
In Battlefield 2, as with previous Battlefield titles, players are able to select from a variety of infantry classes. Each class of soldier is equipped with different weaponry appropriate to their role in the battle. Assault soldiers, for example, are general-purpose infantry with grenade-launcher equipped assault-rifles and extra armor, Medics carry first-aid equipment such as a field defibrillator, and Anti-Tank troopers are equipped with missiles which are effective against heavy armor.
The various forces still use the trademark feature of the Battlefield series – the large stable of vehicles that any player can climb into and control.Battlefield 2, all based on real-life vehicles used by the militaries of different countries.
In contrast to Battlefield 2 has only one purely water-based vehicle, the rigid-inflatable boat; however, the BTR-90, the MEC APC, can travel in water as well as the LAV-25 and the WZ 551, the USMC and PLA equivalents, respectively. The developers tried to design the game so that every vehicle would be weak to another type of vehicle, intending to create a situation similar to a game of rock-paper-scissors.Maps). The USS Essex is the only naval ship featured in BF2, featuring two spawn points and aircraft spawn points, and is not drivable or destroyable, except for its Phalanx turrets.
Players are able to form squads of up to six soldiers in order to more effectively work as a team. Up to nine squads are permitted per team; each squad has a number (automatically assigned) and name (usually a phonetic alphabet letter) for identification. Members of a squad have the ability to communicate with one another via Battlefield 2"s integrated voice over IP (VoIP) system.
The commander alone has access to the "commander screen", an interface similar to that of a real-time strategy game. This allows the commander an overview of the battlefield as a whole, or zoom in and view parts of the map in real-time. The commander also has control of the various commander assets, which include artillery strikes, vehicle and supply drops, and UAV"s. They can deploy them to assist their team. The commander can communicate with squads either by sending orders, or via VoIP voice communication. These tools allow the commander to strategically coordinate their forces on the battlefield.
A built-in game recorder records battles for subsequent replay. These files can be downloaded from a server which supports BattleRecorder directly after their respective game. Recorded battle files are around 1 to 8 megabytes in size and are played within the Battlefield 2 engine. Camera angles can be changed (free roaming & selected player), as well as the speed, though there is no rewind capability. Files can be exported to AVI format.machinima. Usage of the PunkBuster service is mandatory for all official ranked Battlefield 2 servers, but optional for unranked servers.
Battlefield 2 offers 15 maps for the players to play but shipped with 12.Daqing Oilfields. MEC is present in Middle East theaters such as Gulf of Oman and Zatar Wetlands. The BF2 series including the expansion and booster packs puts the map count at 29 maps.
Battlefield 2 maps have 3 variations, each suited for a certain number of players. Each map has 16, 32, and 64 player-suggested variations in which the area of battlefield or playing field is relatively small, medium, and large, respectively. The only exceptions to this are Wake Island 2007, which is locked at 64-player size and the Euro Force maps, Operation Smokescreen, Great Wall, and Taraba Quarry, which have no 64-player size. 32 and 64 player maps are unavailable to offline players from retailers, but an option is given to download 64 Single player AI bot mods. Other contrasts between these variations other than the size are the number and position of control points and availability of vehicles. As a result, the gameplay of the map is different depending on the variation.
The game is set in 2007 during a world war between various power blocs: the United States aided by the European Union and the United Kingdom are at war against Russia, China and the fictional Middle Eastern Coalition (MEC) aided by various insurgents.
Battlefield 2"s first expansion pack, Special Forces, first began its development sometime during or shortly before the release of the original Battlefield 2 by DICE: Battlefield producer, Mike Doran, commented in August 2005 that "The truth is that work on Battlefield 2: Special Forces began several months ago."
The expansion pack provides eight maps, 6 playable factions, and ten more vehicles such as the AH-64D Apache and Mi-35 Hind, though all jets have been removed. In addition to these new contents, players have access to new equipment such as night vision goggles, tear gas, gas masks, zip lines and grappling hooks which can alter gameplay. There are eight more small arms weapons available such as the G36K/E and FN SCAR L/H and several weapons from the original are replaced. The expansion offers more awards in the form of badges, ribbons, and medals that players can earn.Battlefield 2.
Booster packs are additional content released for Battlefield 2 that are currently available for free download. The booster packs were later available in retail form as the Booster Pack Collection, containing a DVD which features these packs, as well as being included in "The Complete Collection", containing a DVD with both the original game and all of the expansions/booster packs.
Battlefield 2: Euro Force is the first booster pack, and was released on March 14, 2006.European Union army, armed with new weapons and vehicles from the various countries of the EU. It is available for purchase online at the Electronic Arts download service, or as part of the retail Booster Pack Collection. It was scheduled for release in February, but was delayed due to a substantial number of new bugs caused by the release of patch 1.2. It features a whole new army, 4 new vehicles, 3 new maps, and 7 new weapons such as the L85A2 with AG36 GL, the FAMAS, the HK53, the HK21, and the Benelli M4. Some of the vehicles for the EU military include the Challenger 2, Eurocopter Tiger, Leopard 2A6 and the Eurofighter. The maps include "The Great Wall of China", against the People"s Liberation Army of China, where the EU army is trying to gain a strong foothold in northern China, to reinforce their American allies in the south later on. "Operation Smoke Screen" features the EU army fighting the MEC in the Middle East for precious oil fields, and the third map, "Taraba Quarry", where the EU army is trying to reinforce American positions in the south. Mindful of the European plans, the MEC tries to stall the EU, where the Europeans must confront their enemies because that route is the only possible path along that side of the Caspian Sea.
Battlefield 2: Armored Fury is the second booster pack released for Battlefield 2 and was released on June 6, 2006.reconnaissance helicopters that operate as a mobile UAV. The booster pack has the USMC defending U.S. soil from invasions from the PLA and MEC. Operation Midnight Sun features the Chinese landing at the Alaskan port Valdez where they are trying to secure much needed fuel from the pipeline. Operation Road Rage is a MEC vs. USMC map, where the MEC are using US Highways to transport units to industrial areas. Operation Harvest sees the United States trying to stall the MEC en route to the capital of Washington D.C. from the northwest, being blocked in a Pennsylvania Dutch farm, while waiting for reinforcements. New vehicles include Attack or Close Air Support aircraft such as the A-10 Thunderbolt II, Su-39 and the Nanchang Q-5 as well as new light utility helicopters such as MH-6 Little Bird, EC-635 and the Z-11. As well as the addition of new helicopters and planes, DICE also added the Muscle Car and Semi Truck. However, the proposed AV-8B Harrier was cut from the add-on due to balancing issues.
The game received widespread critical acclaim, garnering an aggregate score of 91/100 from 55 reviews on Metacritic.Yahoo! Games, GameSpy, X-Play and Computer Gaming World. PC Gamer awarded it 94%, stating, "Its finely tuned maps and balanced gameplay prove that you can improve on perfection," and honored it as Game of the Year.GameSpot rated the game 9.3 out of 10 claiming that "when you experience Battlefield 2 like it"s meant to be played, with everyone working together and using real-time voice chat, the game quickly becomes unlike anything else that you"ve played before."
Battlefield 2 won "s "Best Multiplayer Game 2005" and "Game of the Year 2005" awards. The magazine"s Dan Stapleton wrote, "Few other games in the history of the medium have so effectively captured the visceral feeling of modern military combat in an urban environment".Battlefield 2 with their 2005 awards for "Best Action Game" and "Best Multiplayer", and named it the year"s second-best computer game overall. They called it "perhaps the most thrilling example of how far shooters have come in the last few years."

While presentations during the EA Play press conference earlier this month suggested fans will be able to enjoy Clone WarsDLC this summer, this roadmap suggests the truly important parts of it will arrive later than expected. That being said, it"s nice to know future developments of Star Wars Battlefront 2have a clear direction and release windows. It should also be noted that today"s roadmap is not the final one. DICE promises to fill in the chart with more details as they become available.
In addition to revealing the roadmap to his followers, Walke also promised Battlefront 2"s next update will be detailed soon via a Community Transmission blog post. The content will be made available for free shortly thereafter. It"s unclear if the update features the new Hero Starfighter mode, or if this is a supplementary patch meant to fix bugs associated with the Han Solo Season.

We attend this year"s MSC at an unusual moment, as my colleagues and I came straight from a battlefront. Under the strong leadership of President Xi Jinping, the Chinese government is engaged in a vigorous effort to combat the sudden outbreak of a novel virus. The 1.4 billion Chinese people are united as one in fighting this "war without smoke". We resolve to protect the city of Wuhan, protect Hubei province, and protect every fellow countryman who is struggling with the virus. And we are determined to fight and win this battle.
Scientists and researchers, who have been working day and night, isolated the first virus strain and developed the test reagent in less than seven days. Hailed as heroes in harm"s way, over 20,000 healthcare workers in 100 plus medical teams converged in Hubei, the hardest hit province, from across the nation to support epidemic control. Exemplifying professional dedication, all medical workers are saving and protecting lives around the clock despite the risk of infection and exhaustion from overwork.
Another group of people working around the clock were several thousand engineers and construction workers, who built the two specialized hospitals equipped with 2,500 beds in less than 15 days. Braving freezing weather, community workers leave no stone unturned in checking on every block to make sure that no family in need is left unattended to. Tens of thousands of volunteers are working non-stop to help deliver supplies and assistance to the affected regions. Overseas Chinese around the globe rushed to make donations in cash and kind to help battle the outbreak.
China"s rigorous and thorough measures are paying off. As of 14 February, the number of confirmed cases outside Hubei has recorded a 12-day consecutive drop, and the situation in Hubei and Wuhan is being put under more effective containment. This shows that overall, the epidemic is controllable. The number of cured cases exceeded 8,000 as of yesterday. The case fatality rate has been kept at around 2.29 percent nationwide, and 0.55 percent outside Hubei. These facts and figures demonstrate that the disease is largely curable. Just as President Xi Jinping said, we have full confidence, capacity and determination to defeat the epidemic. Dawn is breaking and we are seeing light coming through.
In the toughest times of the fight, people around the world are standing firmly by our side. Japanese groups sent assistance supplies to China, attached with ancient Chinese poetic lines: "Fear not the want of armor, for mine is also yours to wear", conveying a touching message of empathy from a close neighbor. In other parts of the world, Americans from all walks of life donated medical items and supplies; an Indonesian policeman sang the song "Go, Wuhan!"; UK pupils performed a Chinese song "Fill the World with Love"; the Burj Khalifa Tower in the UAE was lit up in red in solidarity with China; and from this city, Bayern Munich sent its best wishes to China.
The mission of China"s foreign policy is to promote world peace and common development. It is rooted in international law and the basic norms governing international relations and will not be swayed by turns of events. We pursue no selfish interests. Our policy, which is stable and consistent, can stand the test of history and has won the trust of others.
Inferno returns to Vardos, where Raythe"s satellites are being deployed. Iden confronts her father, who reveals that Vardos, their homeworld, is one of their targets and will be purged to send a message of the Empire"s strength. Despite the fact that Vardos is his, Iden"s, and Hask"s home, he orders the satellites to be activated, which shoot laser beams down toward the planet, generating massive storms and, despite his daughter"s anger reminds Iden that her mission is only to extract Protectorate Gleb, an Imperial military instructor and leader of Jinata Security, alone. However, upon witnessing the destruction caused by the storms, Iden and Del decide to disobey orders and send refugees to the Corvus as well. Hask calls them out and holds Iden at gunpoint, under, judging by his dialogue, orders from Admiral Versio, but when he moves his blaster towards Del, Iden shoots Hask in his leg. Iden and Del make their way through the city in a stolen AT-AT , destroying anti-air turrets, eventually reaching the Corvus and escaping with their crew and refugees, while the newly promoted Commander Hask brings Gleb to the Admiral.
Six months later, Iden is a loyal Republic commander and has recreated Inferno Squad for the Republic. Leia asks Iden to track down a missing general, Han Solo. At Maz Kanata"s castle on Takodana, Solo meets with an Imperial defector, statistician Ralsius Paldora, who has hidden two data cubes in the woods: one providing information on the sources of fuel for Imperial fleets, and another providing information on how to free the Wookiees on Kashyyyk. Solo, annoyed at Paldora for not bringing the intel on him, has to fight off waves of Imperials on his own, as Paldora"s blaster is "just for show" - he was never actually trained in shooting it. After recovering the intel, Solo, Chewbacca, and Paldora escape aboard the Maz Kanata, and are reinforced by Inferno Squad. After destroying an Imperial Light Cruiser and TIE Fighters, Solo goes to the Corvus with Inferno. After Solo leaves in the Falcon, presumably to Kashyyyk, Iden looks at Paldora"s intel. The data reveals that Admiral Versio"s fleet is being fueled at Bespin and that an abandoned Imperial weapons factory is still located on Sullust, prompting Iden to ask Leia for authorization to go after her father on Bespin; Leia tells Iden that she does not report to her. Del says that fleet command might not approve of the mission, which they regard as a personal one, so Leia says that she would greatly appreciate the capture of an Imperial admiral. Iden and Del travel to Bespin; although Hask and Admiral Versio escape, Iden and Del are able to destroy the sources of fuel in a Cloud Car, successfully exploding three Star Destroyers.
Zay witnesses the destruction of Starkiller Base. Afterwards, she and Shriv escape in a TIE Fighter, but are stopped in orbit of D"Qar, the location of the Resistance base as they are considered by the Rebels to be Imperials trying to trick their way onto the base. General Leia Organa personally contacts Zay and Shriv, offering her condolences to Zay over Iden"s death and informing them that they are evacuating. Shriv sends the dreadnought schematics to Leia from Dio while she offers them a new mission: to find their allies in the Outer Rim. The two accept and jump to hyperspace.
