The AMT 393B-95 is a Cast Iron Trash Pump and Motor unit with a Stainless Steel Impeller, Viton Silicon/Carbide Shaft Seal, 2 inch x 2 inch NPT Ports, coupled to a 5 Horsepower, 230 Volts, TEFC Totally Enclosed Fan Cooled, NEMA 184JM frame electric Motor. This sewage/trash pump is a heavy duty, centrifugal, motor driven, self-priming (to 20 ft. lift) unit, after initially filling casing with liquid. Pump is equipped with a silicon carbide mechanical seal, cast iron wear surfaces and a stainless steel clog-resistant impeller. Units are used to handle water containing sewage, stones, sticks, mud and other solids: maximum diameter percent the discharge NPT size. Handle liquids from 40 degrees to 180 degrees F (4 degrees to 82 degrees C) for use with nonflammable fluids compatible with pump component materials. All units come with built-in suction check valve to aid priming efficiency and easily removable casing/clean out cover and volute for quick debris clean out. Units are powered by totally enclosed fan cooled (TEFC) motors. Motor includes stainless steel shaft or stainless steel shaft sleeve.
AMT Cast Iron Sewage/Trash pumps are designed for trouble free and economical handling of solids laden liquids and slurries. Pumps are available in three NPT port sizes: 2¿, 3¿ or 4¿. Cast iron construction with two vane stainless steel self-cleaning impellers, silicon carbide mechanical seals for abrasion resistance and Buna-N O-rings and check valves. Built-in check valve allows pump to reprime automatically in an open system without the foot valve. The solids handling capabilities of the pumps make them ideally suited for a variety of industrial applications including: sewage treatment, canneries, chemical processing, wineries, tanneries, meat packing, breweries, pulp, wood chips, process water, sludge and slime, waste water, white water and other applications. These sewage/trash pumps will easily handle liquids containing sewage, stones, sticks, mud and other solids. Minimum liquid requirement must be above 85% — maximum 15% solids. Failure to do so may damage pump and void warranty.
