Mud motors offer the proven way to get acceptable penetration rates when drilling in hard formations and rock. The mud pump has to supply the mud motor, but also has to flush the cuttings to the surface for disposal. The table below shows typical flow rates for popular size mud motors. One 2014 model Kem Tron Tango 1500 Mud System. This new unit boasts the Hyper and Shaker systems that provide the most efficient shaker systems on the market today. These systems are isomounted and provide for very quiet operation, as well as dynamic cleaning capacity.

One 2012 model Kem Tron Tango 1000 Mud System. Same basic design as the Tango 1500 Unit, but it only holds 7,500 gallons and cleans 1,000 G.P.M. instead of holding 10,000 gallons and cleaning 1,500 G.P.M. likes its big brother does.

Our drilling division operates a fleet of drilling rigs including three rotary drills, two cable tool rigs and an auger rig. The rotary drills are capable of drilling up to 24 inch diameter using dual rotation, mud or air rotary techniques. Our cable tool rigs are used for drilling large diameter production wells under difficult down hole conditions and as work-over rigs for well rehabilitation, casing perforation and pulling large pumps. The auger rig is equipped with angle capabilities and has the torque and flexibility to turn 8 inch and 12 inch diameter hollow-stem augers, solid augers, mud or air rotary roller bits, rotary wash wire-line coring, and a variety of geologic sampling tools. The auger rig is primarily used for geotechnical studies and environmental investigations. Our range of drilling expertise includes; large and small diameter production wells for domestic uses, industry, agriculture and municipal clients with pumping capacities up to 2,800 feet deep and exceeding 5,000 gallons per minute. We have installed monitoring wells from 10 feet to over 1,000 feet under safety levels B, C and D protocols.
