A high-efficiency pump that has been specially developed for handling air entrained slurries. The design features a patented impeller and a venting chamber that removes the air contained in the fluid handled from the impeller eye, preventing blockage and reducing downtime. The wetted pump end (casing, impeller and suction plate / liner) is made of white cast iron with a high chromium content. This increases the service life of the components. Urethane is also available as a material. The maximum permissible working pressures are between 8 and 11.5 bar, depending on the pump size. The suction-side wear plate and the suction cover are two separate components, which significantly reduces maintenance costs.
