Here at PBA, we have used our many years of experience with power tongs to offer a wide range of rebuilt and re­certified tongs. Through our used inventory, we also provide our customers with added value by having the capability to rebuild the tongs we sell. If you are looking for a repaired or rebuilt tong, we are happy to offer this option for you.

We are fully equipped to handle any tong repair ranging from tubing tongs such as BJ and Foster tongs to larger casing tongs such as 20" and larger Eckel, and FARR. With our repair facility we can facilitate your needs regarding repair and reconditioning of your tongs.

Where we differ from most repair facilities is our capability to manufacture our own parts and our inventory of many of the internal parts that make up the inner workings of the tong. All Spare parts are OEM equivalent in quality.

PBA Supply also provides repair work for your tongs as well. We are happy to provide repair work for many customers in and around our area as well as across the globe.

On top of being able to simply repair these tongs, we are capable of rebuilding your worn out tongs from the ground up. With our staff of knowledgeable tong mechanics we are your one stop shop for any work you require regarding your tongs.

Our company also offers the sale of spare parts which we manufacture in house for many of the power tong manufacturers, predominately Eckel, FARR/McCoy power tongs.

Westco International Consulting, Inc. Model 16-25 Hydraulic Casing Tong features 25,000 ft-lb (33,900 Nm) of torque capacity for running and pulling 5-1/2” to 16” casing. At the heart of this versatile and lightweight tong is a unique gated rotary that completely encircles the casing. This design provides as many as seven contact points which distribute gripping forces over a greater area than conventional tong designs, ensuring a positive grip without damaging the casing. A two-speed Hydra-Shift® motor coupled with a two-speed gear train provides (4) torque levels and (4) RPM speeds. Easily shift the hydraulic motor in low speed to high speed without stopping the tong or tublar rotation, saving rig time.

A patented door locking system (US Patent 6,279,426) for Eckel tongs that allows for latchless locking of the tong door. The tong door swings easily open and closed and locks when torque

is applied to the tong. When safety is important this locking mechanism combined with our safety door interlock provides unparalleled safety while speeding up the turn around time between connections. The Radial Door Lock is patented protected in the following countries: Canada, Germany, Norway, United Kingdom, and the United States.

The field proven Tri-Grip® Backup features a three head design that encompasses the tubular that applies an evenly distributed gripping force. The Tri-Grip®Backup provides exceptional gripping capabilities with either Eckel True Grit® dies or Pyramid Fine Tooth dies. The hydraulic backup is suspended at an adjustable level below the power tong by means of three hanger legs and allowing the backup to remain stationary while the power tong moves vertically to compensate for thread travel of the connection.

A mandatory meeting for all non-members will be held 30 minutes prior to the first practice session. Non-members are welcome and encouraged to experience PBA50 Tour events providing they average 200 in their most recent league season with at least 36 games bowled.
