I will summarize quickly for those who do not want to read a more detailed review, that Global Service LLC is a...wonderful family owned business that does exceptional work and completely stands behind their products and services.We were interested in upgrading our countertops around Thanksgiving and Global Service LLC was recommended by a neighbor who had similar services done to what we were looking for. From the moment we initially contacted Global, their sales representative immediately followed up to my email questions and quickly sent us a rough quote for the project based on our measurements, and including several pricing options for different stones and grades. Once we made a decision to move forward we were able to schedule a visit to the showroom where we were greeted with personal service and a tour of the options in-person. Nichole took us through a number of different options based on our taste and coordinating colors and themes that we had in our kitchen. Once we selected our stone Agustin visited our house on the next business day and took our actual measurements. After true measurements were taken we were surprised to find that the quote came out lower than anticipated due to our overestimating the size of the project. Otherwise, pricing is highly competitive and actually a bit under what we had researched and expected.Once it was time for the installation, Agustin and crew arrived at our house approximately 2 weeks after our very first contact with Global, which was far faster than my expectations. The crew was incredibly polite, considerate, and quiet while they quickly removed our previous counters and installed the new. If my memory serves, it took maybe 3 hours for everything, which absolutely blew me away.Overall, our experience with Global Service was spectacular from first contact through completion of the project. We were able to get the kitchen of our dreams installed before Christmas, and within 2 weeks of deciding that we wanted to remodel!! A spin-off of Greenfield-based Elanco Animal Health Inc. (NYSE: ELAN) has announced plans to locate its global headquarters in Fishers. BiomEdit LLC, which focuses on microbiome innovation in animal health, says the city will best support its approach to research and development.

“We were impressed with the clear focus on life science innovation in the City of Fishers and the state of Indiana’s strong forward-looking, business friendly climate,” Schacht said in written remarks. “BiomEdit is ready to join with Indiana and Fishers to help bring even more innovation-focused businesses and workforce here.”

The company did not immediately disclose its investment in the new headquarters, but a spokesperson tells Inside INdiana Business it expects to hire a “substantial amount” of people over the next few years.

The Indiana Economic Development Corp. plans to offer up to $3 million in conditional tax credits and $200,000 in innovation vouchers. The incentive package must still be approved by the IEDC board of directors.

Schacht is this week’s guest on the Agbioscience podcast with AgriNovus Indiana. Schacht said looking forward, the company has its eyes on another round of funding.

“We are not a company that’s ready to be publicly-financed; we’re going to be privately-financed, and we may try to enjoy that status for as long as we can, given market conditions,” Schacht said.
