This listing is for the largest rotary table we have in open stock. It is a beefy, well made VERTEX product, manufactured with high density Meehanite and inspected using the HEIDENHAIN process to ensure flatness and parallelism. 4 3/4" t-slots and an MT4 center hole allow for easy work holding. Overall height is 5.32 inches. We also sell the dividing plates and tail stock for this unit. Please note, due to weight, this is a truck freight ship item.

The Dover RTR™ series stages are available in 4-, 6-, 8-, 10-, and 12-inch diameter rotary stage versions that include a preloaded, anti-backlash drive assembly to provide exceptional angular accuracy and repeatability. There is a standard internally mounted Hall effect reference sensor that is wired directly to a screw locking connector for homing position registration accurate to a single step. A stepper motor with a manual knob and a flexible coupling are included with this motorized rotary stage. A second sensor can also be installed to electrically restrict rotary table travel in applications where the full rotational travel needs to be limited to a specific angle of travel less than 360 degrees.

Clear apertures (or through hole) are optionally available in different diameters. Our integral rotary motor encoder can be specified with our RTR™ series rotary stage, where it provides 0.001-degree resolution encoder feedback when combined with a 180:1 worm gear ratio, 200 step-per-revolution stepper motor, and a divide-by-ten micro-step drive. For increased rotary motion resolution, 400-count stepper motor or rotary servo motor are available.

The 200RT Series Rotary Tables are designed for precise motor-driven rotary positioning and indexing. These tables are designed to function independently or in conjunction with linear tables used for precision automation applications. Their low profile design minimizes stack height in multi-axis configurations and enables them to fit in many places where other motorized rotary devices cannot. Models are available in 5, 6, 8, 10, or 12 inch diameters and are offered with four gear ratios making it convenient to match size, speed, and load requirements. They can be selected in either English or metric mounting. They are found in virtually all industries where intermittent part indexing, part scanning, skew adjustment, or precise angular alignment is required. At the heart of these tables is a rugged main support bearing which is comprised of two preloaded angular contact bearing races. It is designed for high load capacity and smooth, flat rotary motion. The drive is a precision worm gear assembly which is preloaded to remove backlash. The top and base are constructed of high quality aluminum with an attractive black anodized finish. The top and bottom mounting surfaces are precision ground to assure flatness.

A rotary table used in conjunction with a mill allows a machinist to produce virtually any part they can design. Sherline’s rotary table is a precision piece of equipment that has been designed to work with their vertical milling machines. However, it can be used on any mill whenever the small 4-inch size would be an advantage. The only limits are size, not complexity.

The table is 2″ high and 4″ (100mm) in diameter. The main components have been machined from solid bar stock steel, and the complete unit weighs seven pounds. The table has been engraved with a laser, giving sharp and precise lines every 5°, numbered every 15°. These lines are calibrated with the 72-tooth worm gear that is driven by the handwheel. The handwheel is divided into 50 parts, making each line on the handwheel 1/10°. This allows a circle to be divided into 3600 increments without interpolation. Seventy-two revolutions of the handwheel rotate the table one revolution.

The rotary tables can hold more weight when they are not under a continuous load. Click on the Video tab above to see examples of different weights and uses for our rotary tables.

The table T-slots are identical to those used on the Sherline mill and lathe, making the vast line of Sherline tooling available for use with this product. Two hold-down clamps and T-nuts are provided with the table. Also included is an adapter that allows Sherline’s 3- and 4-jaw chucks to be screwed directly to the rotary table. An optional right-angle attachment is available (P/N 3701) to mount the table in the vertical position to increase its versatility further. With the table mounted vertically, an optional adjustable right-angle tailstock (P/N 3702) can be mounted to the mill table. It is used to support and stabilize the other end of long work held in a chuck or otherwise attached to the rotary table.

Ganro Industrial Corporation offers large rotary tables in their standard DR series configuration. The large rotary tables are available in a range of 1000mm (40”) to 2500mm (98”) in faceplate diameter. They can be utilized as a full rotating axis incorporated into a machine’s control or as indexers with Ganro’s M-Mate AC servo controller. These rotary tables and indexers are all capable of being mounted in both the vertical and horizontal positions to give manufacturers maximum flexibility. These large rotary tables and indexers utilize a hydraulic brake system to reach high clamping torques. All Ganro DR Series rotary tables and indexers use Ganro’s core technology of a double lead worm shaft and worm wheel system for high precision and reduced backlash. Ganro rotary tables are assembled using cross cylindrical roller bearings with high rotation accuracy capable of bearing heavy loads in every direction.

As the exclusive importer and dealer of Ganro products in the United States, CNC Indexing & Feeding Technologies stocks the most popular Ganro rotary table models, accessories and spare parts. We have certified service technicians for installation and repair of all Ganro and Golden Sun rotary table and indexer models.
