KOMA Precision Inc. introduces a new improved line of extra-large center bore, dual disc hydraulic clamping rotary tables from Tsudakoma. Like all Tsudakoma rotary tables, RCB Series has the proprietary dual lead worm gear system with ultra-precision cross roller bearings. The Tsudakoma dual lead gearing system delivers the optimal balance between power, durability and smooth cutting performance.

Three new models are available, with table diameter of RCB-350, R being 8.45", RCB-450, R with 10.4" and RCB-550, R with 12.4". The RCB Series rotary tables can be mounted either vertically or horizontally. Various options such as chucks, tailstocks, support spindles, and faceplates are available. Pneumatic and Hydraulic rotary joints for automatic load and unload of the work piece are also available.

KOMA Precision Inc. has introduced a new line of high performance, attractively priced 4th axis rotary tables from Tsudakoma. The RNE Series 4th axis rotary tables are compact, high-performance tables offered at economy line pricing.

Four new models are available, ranging from the RNE-160 with 6.3" (160mm) face-plate capacity to the RNE-320 with 12.6" (320mm) face-plate capacity. The RNE Series tables feature speeds ranging from 25 to 44.4 RPM and indexing accuracies ranging from 10 to 12.5 arc seconds. Various options such as chucks, tailstocks, support spindles and faceplates are available. Pneumatic and hydraulic rotary joints for automatic load and unload of the work piece are also available.

Like all Tsudakoma rotary tables, the RNE Series feature heavy-duty construction, combining Tsudakoma casting material with Tsudakoma"s dual lead worm gearing system featuring the largest tooth engagement of any rotary table manufacturer. This proprietary gearing system generates up to 85 percent torque transfer efficiency. These tables also feature Tsudakoma"s ultraprecision cross roller bearings that support radial, axial and movement loads four times the level of stiffness as angular contact bearings.

Koma Precision distributes Tsudakoma’s line of rotary tables. The pictured table is part of the TWM line, which best pairs with high-production single- or dual-spindle vertical machining centers that require five-axis machining.

Live demonstrations with customer parts headline the show at Koma Precision’s bright green booth. This IMTS, the company is showcasing Tsudakoma rotary tables in common fixturing setups for automotive parts. In addition to stock Tsudakoma rotary tables, Koma Precision is also emphasizing its specialty rotary tables, which are born from collaboration between Tsudakoma, Koma Precision and the end user.

Koma Precision is also showcasing Alberti NEO right angle heads, which the company says add versatile high-torque and coolant-through options to its line of machine tool accessories. Video displays highlight overhead hydraulic products for high-production horizontal and vertical machining centers, as well as the company’s machine tool presetters with auto-measuring functions.

September 15, 2006 - The Tsudakoma TN-130 super compact NC tilting rotary table features massive clamp torque utilizing a newly designed dual disc tapered ball clamping system. The TN-130 is a high speed table with total flexibility for the addition of rotary joints, scales, and hydraulic chucks.

September 15, 2006 - Koma PARR+ precision pneumatic chucks provide ultra precise chucking (up to .00002 repeatability) for accurate thin wall turning and grinding. PARR+ chucks feature integral adjustable pneumatic power and high speed, maintenance free performance. Internal and external chucking is possible with the same unit.
