Rotary table in market mainly includes 4 kinds of mechanism that is worm gear, roller cam, DD driver and harmonic structure. The following is the introduction:

1. worm gear: it’s one of  the most popular structrue in NC rotary table  because of its irreversibility and costs.The worm is generally made of bronze, but the wear resistance is poor. In order to improve the service life, some manufacturers use the alloy steel.

3.DD motor: it’s the most efficient rotary table with the highest precision. It has the highest precision because it has no mechanical structure, which is directly driven by motor , no reducer. It has high technical difficulty and high price. It is generally used for five axis machine tools.

The HCR-5000S 5-axis, single-table (S) Horizontal Machining Center performs efficient, high-speed machining of small- and mid-sized aluminum components such as those commonly found in the aerospace and semi-conductor/high-tech industries.

For extremely accurate performance, the machine features a solid base X-axis construction, high-rigidity bed and a tilt/rotary table where both the A and C axes use a roller gear cam system for positioning to increments of 0.0001-degrees. The HCR-5000S efficiently evacuates large amounts of machined chips to ensure excellent surface finishes and prevent downtime.

It is one of the few machines with a trunnion-style tilting table to feature a 50-taper spindle and Multi-Tasking operations. As such, users can reduce the inaccuracies that occur when moving parts across multiple workstations, eliminate work-in-process inventory and boost overall throughput.

The VTC-800/30SD Vertical Machining Center features a high speed 40 Taper spindle, swivel spindle head (B-axis), full traveling-column design and two rotary tables for machining critical parts in the aerospace industry. The swivel head delivers improved accuracy and repeatability due to the backlash-free design, which allows the machining of complex features and contours. Thanks to the additional axis, manufacturers can reduce the total number of machining operations for significant increases in productivity. The dual synchronized rotary tables create two separate work areas with full 5-axis simultaneous machining; alternately, a fixture can be mounted between the tables to handle longer components. The machine also delivers fast rapid traverse rates to reduce non-cut times.

Made in Kentucky, the VC-500A/5X Vertical Machining Center has a trunnion-style rotary/tilt table that allows for the accurate, cost-effective processing of small complex parts via full 5-axis machining. The machine also features the MAZATROL SmoothX CNC that allows for easier programming and faster part cycle times, in either EIA or MAZATROL conversational.

To minimize thermal displacement, Mazak incorporates an oil chiller that cools the VC-500A/5X’s head and table. The machine’s trunnion-style rotary/tilt table is constructed with durable high-speed roller gear cam drive technology for high torsional rigidity and positioning accuracy. The table tilts +110 degrees / -110 degrees in the B axis and rotates 360 degrees in the C axis and can accommodate workpiece weights up to 440 lbs.

Mazak’s MAZATROL SmoothX CNC on the VC-500A/5X makes it easy to generate programs for highly complex parts production. It has several advanced functions that allow it to ensure the shortest possible machining cycle times, especially in fine increment programs for simultaneous 5-axis operations and free-form die-mold machining. These functions include High Gain Feed Forward Control, Fast Rotary Axis Speeds, Variable Acceleration Control and Intelligent Pocket Milling.
