Castel has renewed its entire range of ball valves 6570N Ball Valve seriesfor HC systems, ATEX conformity for use in EX Zone 2. Connections are in copper material of 1/4” to 3.5/8”. The brass body of the valve is appropriately scaled. The use of a brass cap permits the access and the protection of the maneuvering rod and guarantees an excellent hermetic seal. Castel offers also 43-EX Hermetic Filtersand series 44 Filters with exchangeable solid cores with ODS connections from 16 mm to 54 mm and PWM series 2028EX expansion valves complete the range of HC products.

Thye safety valves series 3061 and 3065 are safety devices according to the definition given in Article 1, Point 2.1.3, 2nd dash of 97/23/EC Directive and are the subject of Article 3, Point 1.4) of aforesaid Directive. The valves above mentioned are direct-loaded type, unbalanced, conveyed discharge. Valve opening is produced by the thrust the fluid under pressure exerts on the disc, when said thrust exceeds, under setting conditions, the opposing force of the spring acting on the disc. The safety valves series 3061 and 3065 are manufactured in accordance with European standard EN ISO 4126-1: 2013, relative either to the design / construction of the valves or to the functional characteristics of the same.

The new 1427E and 1428E solenoid valves are for 120 and 140bar pressure (1740 and 2031 PSI), respectively. The new safety valve, the 3061E, has a set pressure of 150bar (2176 PSI). Castel introduced other CO2 valives at Chilventa in 2018.

The entire range of Castel CO2 valves is suitable for applications like heat pumps, industrial refrigeration, commercial and industrial air conditioning, refrigerated transportation and supermarket installations.
