The use of a drip pan elbow is highly recommended for steam service safety valves. When attached to a safety valve outlet, these elbows collect and remove condensate as well as isolate the valve from discharge piping stresses. Elbows through 4" feature female NPT threads and connect to the valve outlet by means of a close nipple. The 6" and 8" elbows have integral 125# ANSI B16.1 flanges and bolt directly to the valve outlet. Sizes: 3/4" through 8", flanged and threaded models. Material: Gray iron ASTM A126 class B. Finish: Black phosphate or black paint coating.

High volume air relief valves designed for low pressure air and gas service. Rugged bronze construction features elastomer soft seating and TFE coated discs for dependable operation. Non-ASME code air and gas service. Inlet sizes 2", 2 1/2" and 3". Set pressures 4 to 22 psig @ 400°F. max.

To achieve topmost performance and maximum service life, it is necessary to maintain a proper pressure margin between the set pressure of the safety relief valve and the operating pressure of the equipment. The minimum recommended operating pressure margin for this type of safety relief valve is 10 psi or 25% of the operating pressure, whichever is greater.

Versatile safety relief valve available in bronze, carbon steel or all stainless steel construction, suitable for a wide range of steam, air, gas, and liquid applications. High capacity full nozzle design is available with metal to metal, PCTFE or elastomer O-ring seating. Short tuned blowdown and backpressure tight body minimizes fugitive emissions and product losses in the event of valve operation.

ASME Section VIII design certified Safety Valve to protect portable steam vessel applications such as autoclaves, sterilizers and pressure cookers against excess pressure build-up. Made from proven ASTM grade Brass with optional decorative chrome finish.

Medium capacity safety valves protect ASME Section IV low pressure steam heating boilers. Cast bronze, full nozzle design features PTFE faced elastomer soft seating for dependable operation.

Applications: The 14 Series is an ASME Section IV high capacity steam safety valve for use with medium and large size commercial and industrial heating boilers.

High flow vacuum relief valves feature one piece cast bronze bodies, Teflon coated discs and elastomer soft seating provide accurate and dependable operation. Ideal for use with high volume vacuum systems, bulk hauling tanks and trailers, powdered solids/bulk handling and pneumatic conveying equipment.

The Apollo® Model VR Vacuum Relief valve is designed to automatically vent a system should a vacuum occur. It prevents siphoning of water from the system and/or tank collapse.

Safety Relief Valves, ASME HV Sec IV, 3/4" The Apollo® RVW62 is an ASME Section IV capacity certified bronze safety relief valve for protection of hot water heating boilers, swimming pool heaters and similar equipment.

Economical relief valves for general purpose non-code overpressure protection and bypass relief applications. Applications include liquid bypass or thermal expansion relief of well pumps, tanks, fire protection systems and all types of water or liquid piping systems. Not intended for steam service.

Adjustable relief valves protect equipment by providing low volume liquid relief or bypass control. Excess volume may be discharged back to the low pressure source. Ideal for agricultural sprayers and simple commercial or industrial pressurized systems.

Calibrated pressure relief valve allows for in-line pressure adjustments without the need for a pressure gauge. Provides static overpressure protection for liquid filled systems such as well pumps, tanks, fire protection systems.

ASME Section IV and CSA capacity certified bronze "uni-body" Safety Relief Valve for protection of hot water boilers, systems and similar equipment. This valve prevents excessive thermal expansion buildup in plumbing systems, tank applications or tankless water heaters.

Bronze automatic temperature and pressure relief valves used for protection of hot water heaters and storage tanks. Protects against elevated temperature and pressure.

The Apollo® TPC bronze automatic temperature and pressure relief valves are used for protection of high capacity commercial hot water heaters and storage tanks.

After leading as a manufacturer of American-made flow control products, like backflow, PVC check valves and PVC ball valves since 1928, Conbraco became known as “Apollo.” In the industry, Apollo valves are recognized by their signature yellow handles.

Apollo valves are designed, engineered, cast, machined, assembled, and tested in ISO-registered, state-of-the-art facilities in the Carolinas. In fact, about 95% of Apollo’s backflow and valve products are made in the USA. At their foundries, they cast 81 bronze, 85 bronze, lead-free bronze, carbon steel, low-temp carbon steel, stainless steel, low-carbon stainless steel, alloy 20, Hastelloy “C,” nickel, nickel-copper alloys, and titanium.

Apollo’s vertical manufacturing integration assures better quality control, better cost control, and the shortest delivery lead times possible for their range of ball valves and 3-way ball valves, check valves, needle valves, automation products, safety relief valves, backflow preventers, and plumbing/heating products.

More About Apollo ValvesTwo Detroit-based manufacturers of brass valves and fittings merged in 1928, forming Consolidated Brass Company and Conbraco Industries was created. Conbraco Industries, Inc. is a leading manufacturer of American Made flow control products for U.S. and International Markets. In 2005, all products were brought under the Apollo name, of which NASVI stocks hot water safety release valves, bronze high capacity commercial T&P valves, low pressure steam heating boiler safety valves, low pressure air relief valves, and bronze safety valves.

Constantly developing and introducing new products, and focusing on superior problem-solving initiatives, Apollo Valves continues to produce top quality and reliable solutions.
