Rocol 400 ml Wire Rope Spray is a high performance fluid version of Rocol Wire Rope Dressing. A specially selected petroleum solvent added to the formulation provides both enhanced de-watering and penetration properties making the product particularly suitable for use on wet ropes. The convenience of the aerosol dispenser makes this product ideal for controlled application on equipment such as mobile cranes etc. Once the solvent evaporates performance is identical to Rocol Wire Rope Dressing which is highly resistant to water and provides excellent corrosion protection making it suitable for use even in salt water environments. It has a temperature range of -30 to +100 degree C. It has excellent penetrating and dewatering properties making it ideal for use on wet ropes or ropes that are going into storage. Spray exhibits excellent lubrication properties which reduces wear on the wires and strands thereby maximizing the service life of the rope. It is highly resistant to water wash-off and offers outstanding corrosion protection. It provides a thin, non-tacky film which prevents the build-up of dust and dirt on the wire rope. Directions for storage and use: It should be stored out of direct sunlight. The storage temperature of Rocol Wire Rope Spray should be controlled to less than 50 degree C. If Spray is stored in accordance with the above guidelines the shelf life is 5 years from date of manufacture. Shake Rocol Wire Rope spray well before use. Hold can upright and spray from a suitable distance to ensure even coverage of the entire rope. The minimum application temperature for Rocol Wire Rope Spray is 0 degree C. For best results always apply Rocol Wire Rope Spray to clean, dry ropes. Approximate rope coverage, based on a 25 mm diameter rope, is 20 to 30 metres per aerosol.
