Single-sheave pulley blocks and wheels are used with cable or rope to lift or pull heavy loads. Flat-block pulleys can be affixed to a wall or ceiling, whereas fixed-eye and swivel-eye pulleys can be attached by sliding the eye over an existing rod, bolt, or shackle. Made from steel and other corrosion-resistant materials, they are suitable for indoor and outdoor use.

The pulleys from our company are for use with a rope. You will attach a rope to the wheel and use it either by hand or with a motor. You can wind the rope to a variety of different lengths. One benefit of pulley blocks is their low cost.

For an even stronger pulling action, you can use our snatch blocks with a wire rope. You will find that using this pulley system will help to reduce the amount of heat building up in the system. Our pulley systems include:

2" to 4" Wire Rope Pulleys are furnished with a 7/8" stock bore to receive a press fit on the 7/8" outside diameter powdered metal bushing sizes. Pulleys and bushings should be ordered separately by stock number.

5" to 10" Wire Rope Pulleys are furnished with a 1-1/4" stock bore to receive a press fit on the 1-1/4" outside diameter powdered metal bushing sizes. Pulleys and bushings should be ordered separately by stock number.
