I am trying to adjust the hydraulics on my 45. It has no lifting power. On step #1, you screw in the lower screw. WHAT do you screw this into?? Then step #2 screw in to the body to separate the plates. The only step I am having trouble with is step one. WHAT do I screw this into? It says the body, but when I move the lever it tends to slide down.

Ted, You may want to check the pressure on your pump. Should be around 3300 psi. If not then it is an internal job. May have problems with pressure release or leaking o rings valves.

I know there is lots of things to adjust on the pump, I tried setting the traction booster system to plow one time, I only had a 3 acre field and never did get it right. the plow was in and out like a feeding porpoise.

The linkage for the feedback from the snap coupler is missing, and I have dialed out the traction control and set the other adjustments acording to the manual. But it still creeps up.

Something I would check before I tear anything apart. Go to the hydraulic setting page and I will point out a problem I have run into when I experienced your problem. (Arms lift no matter where control lever is.)

On the upper left corner a flat linkage with a slot should be connected to the peg. If it is not there that will allow the piece to rotate to the right. That is how the pump gets it"s signal from the traction booster to raise.

I can not think of any adjustment that will cause the arms to raise regardless of where the control lever is. If the arms will not come down when the lever is down, and the tractor is not running, I suspect a stuck valve or something. I have not had that happen so have nothing to offer in that case.
