Columbia was the first company to offer a five year warranty on their line of Automatic Taping Tools. The fact that Columbia are the only company manufacturing drywall tools in the world that does everything in-house from start to finish puts them on entirely different level. Columbia Taping Tools will not argue with you when you have a problem. They aren’t going to refer you to the fine print. Columbia will support you and your tools with an unprecedented level of customer service no matter what the issue. Columbia invented the five year warranty and plan to back it.

As their service agent and authorised dealer for New Zealand, Specialized can confirm that Columbia"s statement has never been more true. Columbia Taping Tools has always upheld their warranty specifications and looked after their customers.

"all products will be free from defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service for 5 years from the original date of purchase. The limited warranty does not cover the following wear parts; cutter blades, box blades and skids, corner finisher blades, cables, any and all rubber seals, gaskets, needles, O-rings, nyliner bearings, any and all springs, screens and rubber box wheels. This limited warranty does not cover damage which in the reasonable judgment of Columbia Taping Tools arises from loss, misuse, negligence, accident, corrosion or from substitution of non-Columbia parts".

Note:The limited warranty is conditioned upon the prepaid return of the equipment to Columbia Taping Tools, or an authorised Columbia warranty center. Proof of purchase date must be supplied by original owner as requested by Columbia Taping Tools if the limited warranty is to be valid. Repair or replacement will be made free of charge, and is exclusive and in lieu of any other warranties, expressed or implied. Every form of liability for direct, special or consequential damages or loss is expressly excluded and denied.

Specialized Construction Products Ltd provides factory Warranty and Repair services for Columbia Taping Tools", products as we are part of Columbia"s global network of Dealers. If your tool needs repair please contact Specialized - or from whom you made the original purchase. Specific Dealers are equipped and authorised to provide Warranty work. Specialized will advise you on this.

Upon contacting Specialized, we will fill out a Warranty and Repair Form for you. The completed Warranty and Repair Form must be included with your Warranty Return Shipment. Once Columbia Tools have processed the form (24-48 hrs), Specialized will let you know what the next step will be.

The limited warranty is conditioned upon the prepaid return of the equipment to Columbia Taping Tools through Specialized, New Zealand. Proof of purchase date must be supplied by original owner as requested by Columbia Taping Tools if the limited warranty is to be valid. Cleaning a Pump doesn"t get any easier than this! Columbia Quick-Clean Mud Pumps feature quick-release clamps on head that allow for easy removal of the pump tube from the head. This allows for easy and quick cleaning of the entire unit, and is especially useful when using fast setting joint compound (a.k.a Hot Mud.)
