Moyno® 2L6 CDQ Progressing Cavity Mud Pump Complete pump, CDQ components The Moyno® pump is one of the most versatile pumps available. It has been proven in thousands of applications over the past 50 years. It is backed by the experience gained over the years, both in application and manufacturing know-how. The Moyno® progressing cavity pump is a single-screw rotary pump. The pumping action is created by the single helical rotor rolling eccentrically in the double threaded helix of the stator. In its revolution, the rotor forms in conjunction with the stator a series of sealed cavities 180 degrees apart. As the rotor turns the cavities progress from the suction to the discharge. As one cavity diminsihes, the opposing cavity is increasing at exactly the same rate. Thus, the sum of the two discharges is a constant volume. The result is a pulsation-less positive displacement flow with no valves.C – Cast Iron

A progressive cavity pump comes in different makes and sizes, and you buy the tool depending on the application. The pump used by a filling station is not the one you use to fill up your tanks. There are high flow rate low pressure systems used to transfer fluids axially. On the other hand, you can go with radial ones dealing with a low flow rate and high-pressure fluid. The mixed flow pump variety combines radial and axial transfer mechanisms and works with medium flow and pressure fluids. Depending on what it will be pumping, you can then choose the progressive cavity pump of choice from the collection at Alibaba.com.

PCM use Moineau™ technology in our progressing cavity pump range, to ensure they can operate at a higher pressure than other positive displacement pumps. Our pumps offer very low shear operations, as well as being pulsation free, meaning they are ideal for any tasks which require a steady flow – no matter what the product viscosity or pressure is.
A Moineau™ progressing cavity pump consists of a helical rotor, which turns inside a helical stator. The stainless steel rotor is machined to a high degree of precision, and the stator is moulded in a resilient elastomer.
This means that when the rotor is inserted into the stator, a double chain of honeycombed-shaped watertight cavities is created. When the rotor turns inside the stator, the honeycomb moves spirally along the axis of the pump, never changing shape or volume. This allows the product to be transferred from the pump intake to the pump discharge, without any degradation.
The Nova Rotors DN/JN series progressive cavity pump is excellent at handling viscous and non-viscous fluids with or without solids in suspension. There are various models of this helical rotor pump, the largest is capable of achieving flow rates up to 600m³/hr and pressures up to 48 bar.
There are two main versions of this series, each distinguished by how the motor is coupled to the pump. For the DN type, the motor is directly coupled to the pump to ensure a compact and easy maintenance design. The JN type is long coupled where a flexible coupling is installed between the pump and motor. The JN type is more robust as all the forces during pumping are absorbed by the bearing housing rather than the motor.
The casing of this positive displacement pump can be constructed from various materials including cast iron, stainless steel 304, stainless steel 316 and duplex stainless steel. The rotor is available in stainless steel 420, 304, 316 and duplex, while the stator can be supplied in NBR, EPDM, FPM, HNBR, Hypalon and PTFE. Such a wide range of material choices makes this pump series extremely versatile and capable of pumping a vast range of fluids.
Sealing options for this helical rotor pump include gland packing, gland packing with flushing, single mechanical seal, single mechanical seal with quench, double mechanical seal, single or double cartridge seals and API rated sealing systems.
This progressive cavity pump is Atex certified for handling flammable fluids and installation in non-safe areas. API 676 certification is also available if required.
This progressive cavity pump is ideal for many applications in the industrial and marine markets, including; Multiphase Boosting, fuel transfer, oil transfer, sewage transfer, bilge water transfer, bio-waste, waste water transfer, sludge transfer, marine and agriculture.Multiphase Operation
Enables pumping to a central processing facility, rather than separate facilities being required for each location, reducing the costs of oil recovery, making extraction in such locations more feasible.
