The Hunting Releasable Overshot is designed to engage tools that have damaged or have no fish necks. The Overshot is designed to withstand high impacts associated with fishing operations.
Hunting Releasable Overshots are available in all common industry toolstring sizes and are manufactured with either sucker rod or integral quick connections as per customer requirements
The Flopetrol self-releasing overshot is used to fish wireline tools that have no fishing neck, as well as damaged wireline tools and sucker rods that cannot be fished using conventional tools.
The more tension applied on the overshot, the tighter the force of the slips on the item being fi shed. If the fi sh cannot be retrieved, the overshot is released by jarring down.
The overshot is “planted” onto the fish to provide a new fish neck profile. This is then engaged with a standard releasable pulling tool or a Peak HD FRC pulling tool for heavy jarring applications.
The Coil Solutions Overshots are used to engage and pull a fish from the well bore. It uses a grapple to bite into the outside of the fish and releases by following through a predetermined rate to disengage the grapple. The tool comes with a range of grapples to accommodate various fish sizes.
The Wireline Overshot tools are slip type, designed specifically for wireline operations. They are used to retrieve wireline tools or parts of wireline tools that are lost in the tubing.
Wireline Overshots tool, unlike some existing sucker rod overshots are designed specifically for wireline operations and are supplied with standard wireline threads and fishing necks,Wireline overshots are available in four different sizes and each has a complete range of hardened and double tempered slips
Overshot is a necessary device in wireline drilling. It"s dropped on a cable and directly couples onto and lift up the inner tube assembly, eliminating the need to couple and uncouple the rod string each time the core is retrieved.
Ezy Lock Overshot is a modified product based on compact overshot. It protects against accidental release of the core barrel. This is ideal for suface application when hoisting above ground.
Overshot is a key component of wire-line coring systems. To retrieve the core sample, the overshot is lowered into the hole on a wire cable until it comes in contact with the spearhead point on the head assembly. Positive latching lifting dogs securely attach, and the inner tube assembly is pulled from the hole to retrieve the core.
