This paper designs a high-power-density DC power supply, which has strong short circuit protection capability. A weight minimization parameters design method for LLC circuit is presented to optimize the weight. The design process mentioned in this paper includes two parts, scheme selection and parameter optimization, which are both forced on weight minimization. This design is evaluated by a 3kW submodule prototype with high gravimetric power density of 5.28kW/kg.
