TJR’s standard tilt rotary tables offer several options for turning your traditional 3 axis milling machine into a 5 axis machine for a portion of the cost of a new full 5 axis machine.

The FAR-Series pneumatic brake tilt rotary table line and is offered in multiple sizes and configurations and is available in single arm or dual arm type.

The FHR-Series is a dual arm, hydraulic brake tilt rotary table line offered in multiple sizes and configurations. This series has (3) independent braking systems, and max tilting angle +/- 110 degrees.

The FAR and FHR Series standard tilt rotary tables are capable of being fully integrated into your current machine control so you can utilize as a full rotating and tilting axis for true 5 axis work. It is also capable of being used as a full 4th and 5th axis connecting to TJR’s DAC (Dual Axis Controller) in the event that you need to utilize the unit on multiple machine tools. All are manufactured with large-diameter radial-axial preloaded bearing system for high rigidity that can perform light or heavy cutting.

This is the most versatile rotary available- not only works in horizontal and vertical positions, but any angle in between allowing milling of complex angles on your parts.  The table is 4.3" in diameter and has a 90-1 ratio on the handwheel.  The handwheel is a 60 tooth drive pulley allowing the easy bolt on addition of our CNC drive kits.  Made from the finest fine grain castings and precision ground for accuracy.

The vertical & horizontal rotary table, one of the main accessories of the milling machine, is a precision work positioning device. This machine is widely used in metalworking, enabling the operator to drill or cut work at exact intervals around a fixed axis.

It can be mounted "flat," with the table rotating around a vertical axis, in the same plane as the cutter of a vertical milling machine. Or, mounted the rotary table on its end (or mount it "flat" on a 90° angle plate) so that it rotates about a horizontal axis. In this configuration, a tail stock can also be used, thus holding the workpiece "between centers."

It"s not difficult for you to adjust the rotary table milling machine. What you should do is to adjust the handle to the position where you want because the precise scale is marked on the dial.

Except for the 5.9""(150 mm) rotary machine table, we also offer you four locating blocks. The center can be corrected quickly and accurately by the Key guide block.

We’ve completely designed the FAR-100SN/160SN pneumatic brake tilt rotary table to create a much more compact and versatile 5-axis solution for medium size mills. This new unit easily fits on one end of a machine’s table, leaving the remainder open for additional fixtures or vises. TJR single arm type CNC tilting rotary table is ideal for machining smaller parts such as medical, dental, cellphone housings, etc.
