These tooling plates mount on the Sherline 4″ CNC Rotary table. It holds parts that are being laser scanned. Each plate has a pattern of 10-32 threaded holes. They are for use in holding fixtures to align parts for 3D laser scanning. A series of concentric circles are also machined into the face of the plate to aid in visual centering of the parts to be scanned. There is an access hole that will align with the oiler hole on the surface of the rotary table for lubrication.

On the bottom of the table, there is an alignment protrusion that helps center the plate on the counter-bored hole in the center of the rotary table. The plate comes with four 10-32 socket head cap screws and T-nuts for securing it to the T-slots on the rotary table’s surface. The aluminum plates have a tough black anodized finish.They come in sizes 8″, 10″, and 12″ in diameter. All are for use on Sherline 4″ Rotary Tables.

These plates are not for machining operations. A radial force at the outer diameter of the plate will exert more force on the rotary table worm, and worm gear on the 4″ rotary table. This plate is for laser scanning ONLY. Because the scanning plate is much larger than our 4″ rotary table, all parts that you mount on the plate for scanning must sit center on the plate. Centering the part will locate the weight load in the middle of the rotary table.

I modified the ring so that the balls are trapped and no longer risk escaping due to poor transport. The ring is to be printed in 2 copies and glued once the balls are trapped.

This turntable was designed for beautifully capturing details printed on a 3D printer. The dimensions of the table are 200x200mm.Fasteners M3x6mm.The table is driven by the Stepper_28BYJ motor. It is controlled through Arduino....

Make the 3D scanning process faster and simpler. Easily capture 3D scans in 360 degrees by turning this rotary table in a clockwise or counterclockwise position. The object will rotate smoothly on the rotary table. The pattern on the rotary table also helps with 3D scan alignment.

The specially designed Aluminum Grid Table not only allows the smoke to be fully exhausted, but also leaves enough space for laser penetration. It alleviates burn-in of the laser unit and excessive carbonization on the back of the material, enabling a more distinctively outlined laser cutting.

The standard ER11 Collet guarantees a better concentricity that allows for a more stable CNC carving speed and larger step-down. It also supports over one hundred carving and cutting bits. The diameters of the bits range from 0.5 mm/0.02" to 6.35 mm/0.25".
