Rotary tables with two rotational axes, usually arranged perpendicularly, allow for five-axis workpiece machining in machining centres. The trunnion axis mounted in the machine tool can be used either with or without a counter bearing. Up to four faceplates can be used as table axes in series. We can equip the last, in particular, with an alternate drive technology. For this axis worm gears or gear drives are prevalent. In the case of the ZASR 630 and ZASR 800, the trunnion axis is always designed with a pre-loaded gear drive. Other options are available if you require multi-spindle table axes for two-axis rotary tilt tables. The spindle pitch is machine builder dictated. We would be glad to explain this to you personally.
