When I was looking at a rotary table I came to the conclusion that the vertical rotary table and the horizontal rotary tables have vastly different requirements. A 4-5-6" vertical rotary table is perfectly adequate for what I want to do with my mill, but I needed something more like a 8-10-12" rotary table for horizontal works.

It has a 36:1 gear ratio instead of a 72:1 like some other tables, but that also means you"re cranking less to get from one position to the next. It"s solid, and seems to be machined to a better fit and finish than typical Chinese stuff. It"s made in India, and ships from there via Fedex air. I got mine in about 3 days.

The rotary table also is available with larger, 15/32″ through hole to which you cab mount our chucks. This modification came about after requests from our laser engraving customers. The larger through hole allows for larger stock to be held. It also has a Nickel-Teflon plating on it because it was designed to be used in an every-day production environment. This gives the table a rust resistant surface that is hard and has added lubrication qualities.
