I"ve got a 12" Troyke that I put on and take off a B"port by myself fairly frequently. It"s a very nice RT, and I got it for a song! It had lived a hard life, but I disassembled it, removed all the old oil-goo, repainted and reassembled. Been working great.

One note the cleanup however, when I unbolted the worm gear from the table, I didn"t mark it"s location (though that may not have helped), now it"s either not perfectly concentric, or it"s not in the position that it was when it was "broken in". The result it that part of the rotation is a little stiffer than the rest. Not bad, but makes working by feel a little difficult.

Now I lower the table and move it out and left so that I have easy access. Won"t be long before I need a lift, or do the slide it to a table routine.

All that said, I think the Troyke is an excellent rotary table, one worth looking for. Though I also should add, I don"t have any experience with other brands.

I bought this from a rotary auction. I dont know if its a real antique or if it was made to look that way but its an attractive piece. 26 inches across on the top and 28 inches high. Its not an outdoor table, I took the pictures outside for better light.
