Air compressor tank safety valve. This valve is rated to 200psi and has a maximum CFM discharge rating of 178 cfm. This valve utilizes 1/4" NPT Male threads.

This relief valve is manufactured in the United States and is stamped with "UV" & "NB" symbols. The relief pressure of this valve is set at 200 PSI and is accurate within + or - 3% of the set pressure.

Brand new field adjustable, Non Code 1/4" NPT pressure relief valve kit. This is a high quality relief valve that can easily be adjusted to any pressure between 25 and 200 PSI. This valve kit comes with 4 springs. These springs are easy to change out and give you the ability to easily alternate relief pressure anywhere from 25-50, 50-100, 100-150, and 150-200 PSI! The knurled thumbscrew and jam nut make adjustments easy and repeatable. This valve can be used in a variety of applications and has a max temperature rating of 250°F. This relief valve is made of solid brass and has an inner silicon rubber seal and a zinc plated music wire spring.

1/4" MNPT ASME safety valves are manufactured to ASME standards and certified by the national board of boiler and pressure vessel inspectors. Valves are interchangeable with all other ASME valves of same size and pressure. Valve resets after pressure drops by 50%.

Generally, if this valve is leaking or popping, there is problems with the seat valve of the regulator or flowmeter. This valve is designed to vent or leak. It keeps the regulator from building pressure during a failure of the seat valve.
