The part should have included the model numbers for the pressure cookers for which this part was appropriate. There is no fix for this. After much investigation I concluded that I cannot get parts for my pressure cooker and so I threw it in the recycle bin. I must say that If this was indeed the part I needed it took a really long time to arrive as well. I threw the part in the recycle bin as well as it is more money and headache than I wanted to send it back.
