Suncor Stainless offers a complete line of stainless steel wire for marine, industrial and architectural applications. All of our stainless steel wire is made from grade 316 and 304 stainless steel. Our wire rope product line also includes both Black PVC Coated Wire and White PVC Coated Wire.

This black PVC coated cable features a 7 x 7 construction and is available in diameters ranging from 1/16″ to 1/4″. Custom spools are offered, as well as, bulk spools of 1,000 feet. The wire rope is made from grade 316 stainless steel for maximum corrosion resistance and durability.

Manufactruring extrudes a variety of jacketing types for strand, aircraft cable and wire rope. We manufacture custom coatings to specific diameters in a wide range of colors to meet your specific demands. Adding a jacket to your cable or wire rope provides extra durability and helps increase the lifespan of the cable or wire rope. Sandin Manufacturing has the capability to extrude bare cable from .014" diameter to .625" diameter.

Coated cable is available in various types of nylon, UV resistant vinyl, polyethylene, polypropylene, and hytrel. Custom color matching is available for the different coatings.

Stainless steel 304, uncoated wire rope, with 7x7 standard construction, is used in pulleys, and in aircraft and automotive controls. Stainless steel 304, also called 18-8, is corrosion-resistant, and withstands high temperatures for a wide range of operation. Stainless steel 304 is a versatile material, commonly used in a wide variety of applications, and in saline atmospheres. Vinyl, also called Polyvinyl Chloride (PVC), is corrosion-resistant, lightweight, and has high strength. It resists reactions with acids, gasolines, alcohol, and hydrocarbons. It is flexible, and is resistant to weather and ultra-violet (UV) rays. Vinyl coating is a hard, durable plastic that resists most chemicals, has excellent dimensional stability, and can be sterilized. It resists oil, has absorbs low levels of moisture, and is non-conductive. 7x7 strand core has seven strands of wire rope with seven wires in each strand, formed helically around a strand core. 7x7 strand core is stronger but less flexible than 6x19 and 6x36 class constructions.
