wire rope anti vibration mounts factory

A wire rope isolator is a very high performance shock absorber and vibration isolator that can used in endless applications. Wire rope isolators are very useful vibration dampers because they maintain excellent vibration isolation performance under maximum shock in severe environmental conditions such as chemical pollution or extreme temperatures. They have a long life span and can adapt to elastic displacement in all dimensions, allowing multi-directional vibration isolation and they can be installed in many different ways.
There is elastic support for heavy duty machinery such as generators and vibration isolation for delicate applications such as precision instruments, transportation of missiles and satellites, processors, communication units, protection for navigation and launching systems as well as large scale construction. The working temperature for wire rope isolators is -75°C-+175°C, up to +370°C and each wire rope isolator comes with softened non-linear stiffness. The maximum dynamic displacement is over 70 percent of the space the mount takes up, the dynamic stiffness decreases when the displacement increases.

Within our extensive range of vibration mounts are two elements that can be used across industries. Our spring mounts, made from rubber and steel, are generally used for vibration isolation in compression. These components are necessary to isolate all machinery that has reciprocating or rotating parts. These parts create vibration through the imbalance of the moving parts.
Reducing vibration in work environments is crucial, as these preventable shudders and trembles can cause noise pollution, malfunctioning and reduction of the machine lifespan and that of surrounding machines, and damage to the health of operators. To mitigate these issues, it is important to install these mounts to isolate vibrations.
Our AVM mounts are composed of rubber body, steel spring and plate, and aluminium spring caps. They are particularly suitable for use with HVAC, compressors, refrigeration units, centrifuges, crushers, vibrating screens and generators. Elesa are passionate about meeting your needs with our wide range of standard components.
If you require AVM mounts with special executions, simply get in touch. We are happy to accommodate the following variations on request:Vibration dampers with one spring, with pins or threaded holes with a baseplate
Also in our range are wire rope isolators made from stainless steel. These are generally used for isolating vibrations and shock absorption, where axial holding force, resistance to compression, and shear force is required. Our AVC rope isolators are available with four, six, or eight coils. These components are particularly suitable for use with HVAC, pumps, purification and desalination plants, instrumentation panels, and in the railway, naval, and military industries.
As with our AVM mounts, we are able to provide our AVC rope isolators with the following special executions on request:Vibration dampers with cable with AISI 304 stainless steel bars

Look at any running equipment, plant, and machinery in the industrial environment and you will find them under the influence of vibration and shock. Irrespective of the fact that it is
mechanical, electrical or electronic equipment, vibration and shock tend to shorten the life of the machinery. It is not surprising to find equipment that has been withdrawn from service due to the severe impact of vibrations. A combination of repeated load or fatigue can be detrimental to the health of the machine. Under such circumstances, it is advisable to go in for suitable anti-vibration products like the wire rope vibration isolator.
Noise reduction: Traditionally, the wire rope vibration mounts are used for providing insulation from low-frequency vibrations. The wire vibration isolators are also frequently used for shock isolation applications. Recently a lot of interest has been generated in the use of wire rope vibration isolators for noise reduction within the audible frequency domain. The important parameter here is the stiffness of the wire rope. Thus, going against the popular belief, the wire rope vibration isolator is also suitable for abatement of noise application.
Damping and amplitude:The anti-vibration mount wire rope isolators provide quite a high damping just like rubber isolators. The separate threads of the twisted wire rope generate enough friction and are responsible for the phenomenon. The stiffness is strongly dependent on the frequency but is independent with respect to the vibration amplitudes, within the audible frequency range. The wire rope shock isolators depict a low stiffness for significantly high amplitudes in low-frequency applications. Thus, the behavioral patterns of the wire rope shock mounts are suited for vibration and shock isolation besides noise reduction in the audible frequency domain.
Limited space applications: The circular wire rope isolators occupy very little space and are passive in nature. Wherever there is a limitation of space the circular wire vibration isolators are the best bet. The circular wire rope isolators are definitely smaller in size but depict the properties similar to normal wire rope mounts. They also do not require any maintenance and can be termed as “Fit and Forget.”

Spring Box isolators are used as anti-vibration and shock-absorbing to protect equipment or machines. Socitec prides itself on offering these Spring Box isolators which contain a combination of highly resistant coil springs and SOCITEC’s Polycal® wire-rope isolators. These spring box isolators come in four different models; BRR BRB, BRR, BRS.
Active isolation (isolates vibrations generated by suspended equipment): mostly employed in factories and the metal transformation industry. Contemporary suspensions of turbines, pumps, ventilators and power generators are based on the same principle as spring boxes used to isolate jackhammers and presses.
Passive isolation passive (isolates vibrations transmitted to suspended equipment): to protect sensitive equipment and foundations from disruptions in the immediate area, e.g. generated by industrial machines or traffic. This type of protection can even be employed to counter the impacts of earthquakes and aerodynamic forces due to wind.

The theory and concepts for elastomeric vibration isolators are relatively straightforward. A great many of the applications are uncomplicated, and a non-specialist can handle them directly. However, some vibration and shock control problems are quite complex, making component selection and design complicated. These more complex applications require the involvement of specialist in order to arrive at suitable recommendations and Hutchinson has a technical staff available to assist you. Learn More.
Vibration isolation mounts protect machinery by reducing the amplitude and frequency of vibration energy. Applications such as large motors and industrial machines generate powerful vibrations and excessive noise when active. This vibration energy can be disruptive in a work place, or cause quality or reliability issues with nearby equipment
Vibration damping mounts are commonly made with an elastomer such as natural rubber, neoprene, silicone, or EPDM, which is then bonded to metal. We do sometimes use wire mesh, which also acts as a spring for vibration and shock isolation. Using vibration and shock mounts typically improves the service life of the equipment and improves the environment around the equipment.
Marine engine mounts are anti vibration mounts with fail-safe protection that are used in both mobile and stationary applications from diesel generators to industrial engines. Cylindrical mounts also called bobbin mounts are used in lightweight applications for shock and vibration reduction. Stationary machine mounts including: sandwich bar mounts, rubber bumper mounts and low frequency ring mounts provide shock absorption and isolate low frequency vibrations in all planes. Cone and shear mounts including: flex bolt sandwich mounts, interleaf mounts, v shaped generator mounts and motor mounts isolate vibrations in many different applications. Center bonded mounts including one piece, two piece and three piece mounts are used as rubber vibration isolators and can provide flexible suspension systems for equipment. Electrical panel mounts which have built in fail safe protection are used in applications such as electrical cabinets and enclosures.
Stainless steel leveling feet are used in hygienic leveling foot applications in the food, drug and medical industries. Our heavy duty machine leveling feet including anti vibration leveling feet increase stability for machines and limit tipping, vibration, wear and noise. Pipe hanger mounts hang HVAC equipment, machinery, piping and speakers from ceilings while isolating noise, shocks and vibrations. Wire rope mounts made with stainless steel wire rope cable combine a high level of durability with shock and vibration isolation. Our fully bonded bushing mounts come with the rubber bonded to metal and can be made in many sizes.
Typical applications for Barrymounts are: Pumps, Hoppers, Roll Mills, Cameras, CNC Machinery, Military Equipment, Washing Machines, Industrial Boat Engines, Small Electric Motors, HVAC Systems, Vibrating Tables, Aviation Equipment, Compressors, Transformers, Shipping Containers, Defense Equipment, Marine Propulsion Engines, and Electronic control modules.
