This came packed way nicer than expected. WASN"T UBER fancy, but came in a box, where the cable cutters came in a plasti-form sleeve with cardboard backing. It just has quality all over it. The grips don"t easily slide off, super easy to operate, and I was using ZINC/COPPER crimps and it worked just fine. These might go better with aluminum and be way easier to use, but with the Zinc/Copper 1/8 crimps I didn"t have much more issues. Just would have to put one handle against a flat object and push down just enough to start the denting process since it was getting hard to juggle a 100ft cable, clamp and clamper. BUT once the initial grip happened, I could close it with my arms. It"s hard, but didn"t notice any major damage to the tool, the black painted coating has its expected wear from use, but that"s it.
