Two Way Roller Lever Limit Switches are for used for EOT Cranes, Electric Hoists, Material Handling Equipment, Wagon Shunting Devices etc., to prevent over travel or traverse on power & control circuit up to 500 V.A.C. 50 cycles/second and 40 amps continuous current.
When used as a series Two Way Lever Limit Switch the maximum permissible frequency of operation is 1000 operations per hour. When used as series Limit Switch the maximum permissible frequency of operation is 720 operations per hour.
Two Way Roller Lever Limit Switch is remains closed and cuts off power to stop the motor of the crane. The Lever limit Switch operates when it reaches a predetermined position when the lever is moved over a projecting member / bracket fixed on the girder. The series limit switch is fitted with four sets of contacts which cuts off two phases of the motor in both direction and is suitable for 500 Volts 50 C/s AC supply system.
The Lever limit Switch contacts are automatically reset when the lever returns to zero position due to spring action. The housing of Lever Limit Switch is made of sheet steel suitably reinforced to give exceptional rigidity. The Cam shaft is mounted in the housing on moulded bushes (bearings) to synthetic material fixed to the front and rear walls. These bearings do not require any lubrication.
On request, the Lever Limit Switch are also made of Cast Iron / Cast Aluminium, IP-54 enclosure. The base and cover have machined surface to protect against dirt and dust.
The Lever Limit Switch contact boxy is made of high-grade melamine suitable for heavy duty, non-tracking and is capable of withstanding heavy arcing. The contacts have a maximum current capacity of 40 amps at 500 V.A.C.
Two-way pull rope switch has optional contactors 1NO+1NC or 2NO+2NC, contact capacity 6A/380VAC, 5A/380VAC, or 10A/500VAC, return mode automatically/manually.
The pull rope switch is installed on the rack of both sides of the belt conveyor, and the switches are connected along the two sides of the conveyor with a wire rope. When an emergency occurs on the conveyor belt equipment, pull anywhere of the rope on the site, the wire rope drives the driving arm to rotate, the torque spring is driven by the transmission shaft to move the precision cam, and the micro switch is driven to cut off the power of control line, so that the belt conveyor stops.
So the cable pull switch should be installed in the place with safety maintenance access on both sides of the conveyor, and the installation position should ensure that the maintenance personnel can easily operate in emergency situations.
Tie the steel wire rope to the pull rings at the upper and lower ends of the pull rope switch. The wire rope on each side has a maximum rope length, and it should be shorter when there is a slope.
In order to reduce the influence of the weight of the steel wire rope on starting switch, pull rings should be installed along the parallel direction of the tape to support the steel wire rope.
