Energy Drilling Company Rig #11 drilled a high angle max 56 degree lower Frio test in Aransas county right on budget. Drilled surface hole to 2500’ with water based mud then switched over to oil base mud for the remaining hole with zero issues. Was able to set 5 ½” production casing from TD at 11,060’ MD to surface without the need for intermediate casing. The Rig Managers and crew exhibited a great work ethic and performed the task very professionally and the rig Operated with maximum efficiency.

My experience with Energy Drilling Co. was very satisfactory. The rig crews were very attentive to our objectives in drilling this well. They were courteous and respectful to our consultants. The rig was mechanically sound and maintained in a professional manner. The supervisors were experienced and knowledgeable. Support from Energy Drilling was very good. The well was drilled efficiently and in a timely manner. Over all drilling this well with Energy Drilling Co. was one of the best drilling experiences I’ve had in years.

Drilling Risk Management, Inc. has been working with Energy Drilling’s Rig #14 for 3 years now. From the transition of a mechanical rig to the SCR conversion, the crew of this rig has performed to our highest standards. These high standards include a world-breaking Bi-Center run and two southern Louisiana Parish records. Rig down time has been less than 3% overall for this rig during our usage. The crews and pushers have excelled at the drilling curves that we have set. To this date, every job that DRMI has drilled with this rig has beaten the drilling curve that was set. We are very pleased to work with Energy Drilling and all of the crews that work on Rig #14.

As you probably already know, maintenance of any rig is crucial to keeping a good pace of getting a well drilled. Downtime, regardless of the reasons or who pays for it, translates into so much more than meets the eye. Time spent circulating while rig repairs are done shorten run times on downhole motors, pumps, etc. We have had minimal NPT (non productive time) and when do have a problem it was taken care of quickly.

On another note, I asked that our company man request your crews to round trip the pipe since we were in a time crunch. They tripped it in record time just by staying steady and safe! Great crews great job!
