A. There are multiple reasons this could happen so you will have to check on a couple things first make sure your oil level in your pumps reservoir is to the proper level. Check that your release valve is closed. Double check that your couplers on all connection points are tight and not leaking. Make sure that your not trying to lift anything above your cylinders tonnage rating. You may have air trapped in your system reference your instructions on proper air bleeding. Check for damage to the cylinder because your plunger could be binding which will need to be serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician or possibly replaced.

A. It may be a leaking connection so check that all your connections are tight and leak free. Its possible that you have a internal leak in the pump that you would need to have serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician. Check seals to see if you have any external leaks and if you find one you can get your equipment serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician.

A.First check that your release valve is open. Make sure that your pump reservoir is not over-filled and if it is drain oil level to the full mark. Check that all your hydraulic couplers are fully tightened. It is possible that you have air trapped in your system follow your instructions on bleeding air from your system. Your hose inside diameter could be too narrow for the system that you are using. It could be that you have a broken retraction spring or other damage to your cylinder which will need to be serviced by a qualified hydraulic technician.
