raymarine type 1 hydraulic pump pricelist
The Type 1 hydraulic drive is compatible with both S1/S1G and S2/S2G corepacks. Use the table below to determine the Type 1 hydraulic drive"s capacity when used with each corepack
The Type 1 Hydraulic Reversing Pump, is a component for Raymarine SmartPilot autopilot systems. Designed for boats with existing hydraulic steering systems, the Hydraulic Autopilot Pump interfaces with your vessel"s steering system to keep you on the right course.
Notes: In some systems with dual steering rams in parallel, cylinder capacity is the total of both rams. Rams in series only require single capacity valve. Hydraulic steering systems with steering rams over 500cc require our larger constant running pump used in conjunction with the relevant ACU - contact Raymarine for details. An authorized Raymarine dealer is best suited to installing a hydraulic autopilot system. Type 0.5 suitable for Volvo D4/D6 Sterndrive applications.
Hello, I have a Raymarine Type 1 hydraulic drive pump which is getting CURRENT LIMIT alarms on the ST6001 control head and shifting to STANDBY. This is a new development. No similar alarms for the past 4 years of my ownership. All that I know from previous owner is the AP was installed prior to 2002.
I measured the motor current with a clamp-on DC ammeter while inputting +10 degree changes, then -10. Current is about 14 to 16 amps driving the hydraulic pump with the boat at standstill. Max amps measured was 19.5 when trips to STANDBY. Rudder swings with little resistance when disconnected from the ram. Not bound in any way.
When I attempted to disconnect the motor from the pump base, some fluid leaked out. Maybe 2 tablespoons worth before I put it back together and no leaks. Does this mean a bad seal?
I have just reviewed the manual for the E12172, the image has not been updated to reflect the ACU300. Where it states motor in the image, this should say solenoid. I will get this amended.
The Type 1 hydraulic reversing pump, 4.9-14cu.in. is a component for Raymarine SmartPilotautopilot system. Designed for boats with existing hydraulic steering systems. To match the drive of your vessel, you need to know the size of the actual hydraulic cylinder RAM or RAMs that are mounted to the rudder on inboard engine boats or the RAM mounted to the drive on outboard engine boats.RAM capacity: 4.9 - 14 cu. in.
EV-1 autopilots consist of a Control Head, EV-1 Sensor, Autopilot Control Unit (ACU) and drive unit. The drive unit (inboard mechanical/ hydraulic or cockpit mounted) and correct ACU for your vessel is dependent on the steering system and displacement of the vessel itself.
EV-2 has been designed for the latest drive-by-wire steering systems and connects directly to Raymarine"s SeaTalkng bus. EV-2 also has a dedicated CAN Bus port for direct connection to steer-by-wire steering systems - such as ZF Pod Drives, Yamaha Helm Master, Volvo IPS and SeaStar Solutions Optimus systems. A single CAN Bus connection to the EV-2 eliminates the need for an Autopilot Control Unit (ACU) further simplifying installation.
Hydro-Balance™ Technology is an all new, patent-pending software update that delivers superior autopilot performance on boats with hydraulic steering, and particularly on boats with rudder reference-less steering and outboard motors.
Hydro-Balance™ is now available and any existing Evolution™ autopilot system customers can download the new software, free of charge, from the software download area of the Raymarine website.
Complete your Evolution autopilot system with an autopilot control. The new p70s and p70Rs control heads feature vibrant colour displays and are powered by Raymarine’s intuitive LightHouse user interface.
Control your Evolution Autopilot directly from your Raymarine aSeries, cSeries, eSeries or gS Series multifunction display. Note that your multifunction display must be running Raymarine"s LightHouse II software and that some autopilot functionality may not be available if your system does not include a dedicated autopilot control head.

The Type 1 24 Volt hydraulic pump is rugged hydraulic pump for hydraulic steering system fitted with a ram capacity of between 80cc-230cc. Works with ACU-200 and SPX 30.
Raymarine Evolution pilots connect to hydraulic steering systems using a rugged hydraulic pump matched to the capacity of the hydraulic steering system.
You’ll need to find out the size (in cc) of the hydraulic cylinder ram(s) mounted to the rudder or inboard engined boats, or to the drive unit on outboard engined boats. Your steering system documentation will have this information.
The Type 1 Hydraulic Pump is intended to operate the boat’s steering mechanism as part of a Raymarine autopilot system. It is primarily designed for use on boats with an existing hydraulic steering system.
