I have a Shibaura sd 2243 and recently had to open the hydraulic system when I replaced the starter. Now i can"t get any flow to my front end loader. The hydraulic gear pump mounted on the left side of the engine has good flow to and from the rear transmission / 3PTH block but almost no flow to my loader. Checked all of the lines for blockage. Is the pump on the engine just a feeder pump and is there another high pressure pump or is it the only pump in the system? Also cannot get the 3 PTH to raise. Looking for diagrams of the valve block below the seat.

2021-02-21 200059The video is very helpful. Thank you for sharing. We have narrowed the problem down to the hydraulic pump itself. It is pumping, but at a very low rate. I had to have the drive gear keyway redone as it was sheared off and the gear came off. Once that was fixed, the flow is still not what it should be, only about 1 gpm right now. I am looking to try and have the pump refurbished as I think it is worn out.

The loader was working then on a cold day I drove it to my neighbors to work in his shop to replace the starter solenoid and the hydraulics quit working. We had to remove the filter to get at the starter as ever since we cannot get any pressure in the system. That is when we discovered the other issues. We cleaned the filter, suction and discharge lines, took apart the 3pth valve to check the seals, etc. Now we get flow, but weak. ....

2021-02-22 200060A common problem is unhooking loader hoses & running the tractor with them unhooked. The pump is dead headed & shears a key or breaks the pump. The pump is not a rebuildable pump. I can supply new or possible a used pump. I can be reached at parts
