This disc bolts right to your Yanmar hydraulic pump(suction or pressure side) using the factory bolts and allows you to attach ANY 3/8 NPT fitting. No need to cut your factory steel line if you buy two(see bottom picture). Use this to add a loader, add a log splitter, power steering, a pressure relief valve, test your hydraulic pump, bypass an expensive damaged steel line... even use it on the suction side to attach an external hydraulic filter.

New YM2000 owner here. Loader and 3Point worked when cold. After mowing for 10 minutes, lost power to both and in the UP position. Screen filter has been cleaned and new tran/hyd oil JD303.

I had the same problem last year with my YM1500. I opened the connection where the hydraulic line feeds into the valve and it started working again. Evidently some trash was blocking one of the ports. Do this with the tractor at idle--about 800 rpm. A rag over the fittting will prevent the fluid spurting all over everything. If this doesn"t work, the next thing would be to go into the valve, clean it good, and probably replace the o-rings. Hope this helps.

The Yanmar tractor was founded in Japan in 1912. The company has a long history with small diesel engines. The agricultural equipment division of the company was started in 1961. Yanmar entered into an arrangement with John Deere and began building several utility tractor models in the early 1980’s for John Deere. Yanmar also made their own tractor line and sold them in the United States. Most of the Yanmar tractor made for the United States carried a three digit model number. Yanmar and John Deere were both in competition for the small tractor market and since Yanmar made the engines for John Deere, Yanmar was the one to leave the U.S. but still continue making engines for John Deere. Yanmar continued to make tractors for Japan and for Japan’s use only.

The “Grey-Market” tractors are those that Yanmar made for Japan, but are now imported into North America for their low cost and quality. Yanmar’s Grey Market tractors have mostly a four digit model number such as, 1100, 1300, 1500, 1600, 1700, 1800, 2000, 2500, 2610, 3000, 3110, 3220, 3810 and many more.
