No need to compromise comfort and performance for strength and reliability when you"re riding the men"s Burton Mission Snowboard Bindings. As the workhorse of Burton"s lineup, these do-it-all bindings offer pro-grade features like ergonomic hi-backs with freestyle-minded zero forward lean, and the gapless fit and comfort of ergonomic straps with unstoppable Smooth Glide buckles. Re:Flex baseplates are universally compatible, so you can choose any board in the shop.
Re:Flex™ Binding System – Offers more flex, feel, and cushioning than traditional disc bindings, in a package that"s universally compatible with all current mounting systems, including 4x4, 3D® (via Burton Rider Service), and the Channel®. The minimized, cored base-plate with Living Hinge™ disc reduces the weight and footprint of the binding, while also bending freely for a more natural flex.
Single Component Construction – The simplicity of a one-piece hi-back means immediate response. Using Burton"s book of material secrets, they can manipulate the overall flex profile -- from buttery to responsive.
The Restricted line is like the old Coalition line that Burton had. Kevin was able to get his hand on a set of these and try them out on a few different boards. Here’s what he had to say about one of the longest running bindings in Burton’s line.
Ratchets: I had some typical sample issues with the toe teeth not gripping the ladder and stripping it, I’ve never seen this happen with a production ratchet from Burton so I suspect it won’t be a real issue. Other than that, they’re Burton ratchets, they work great all the time.
